05 corolla S headlight question

Hey guys sorry for the bother but i have a question... i have an 05 corolla s and a couple days ago i decided to order the little cheap "xenon wannabe lights" or whatever you call them, the kit comes with the Highs the Lows and the Foglights, im pretty sure that the hi's and lo's will fit but im not completely sure that the fogs will fit because the ones in the picture look different from the actuals on the car... so my question is if theyre ok or what should i do? if you want to see a pic of the lights i bought click on the bottom link. Thanks for your time and any help is greatly appreciated.

P.S.: you have to copy and paste the link into your address bar. sorry about that

Foglights
2003 and 2004 Corolla's use smaller H3 bulbs
2005+ Corolla's use 9006 bulbs (same as low beam).

Looking at this ad, Dude you will fry your wiring harness and/or melt your headlight housing because these bulbs are well beyond spec's. I believe low beams should be 55W and not 80. You can upgrade the harness...but but you risk voiding warranty on the harness and electrical system.

QUALITY KRYPTON XENON GAS FILLED HID LOOK HEADLIGHTS AND FOG LIGHTS (9005 100W-HIGH BEAM, 9006 80W-LOW BEAM, H3 55W FOGLIGHTS) 3 PAIRS

Don't do it. Keep doing research here and at other Corolla sites before you buy.

Most people I know buy Nokya's or Silverstars. I think it's a crap shoot with some of the no-name or gray-name brands which just use coloured blue glass to filter out the yellow light. You end up with a less intense beam.

Personally...if I actually owned my car and intended to keep it longer than the 4 year lease, I'd spring for HID's through a group buy. At $250 they will be bright, white, awesome looking...and you'll probably never have to replace a bulb every again.

Whats wrong with HIDS?? They are a bit pricey but well worth it and last forever. Mine changed my life.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with HID's - except if you lease your car you're tossing $$ away unless you can use them in your next car (no guarantees).

That's what I use. Just keep the receipt as they have a one-year warranty...and odds are you will use it. All 4 of mine blew within a month after 9 months of usage.

Lol...I'm surprised, I use Silverstars also and I think their great but some of the posters here disagree saying all American bulbs are "crap" and I find it strange no one is posting....Radd Guy...
