I was just wondering do crankcase breathers really make any difference? I have heard that the real purpose is to releive pressure from the case so that basically the moving parts have less resistance and move more freely!! What is the purpose of steel braided fuel lines?

Crankcase breathers are normally installed when you've got a PCV system that's not up to par with the forced induction modifacations installed, AKA when you slap a big turbo on you'll need one, Otherwise you're ricing.

Steel braided fuel lines are mainly used when you swap in an engine and your stock fuel lines wont work or you really upgrage your fuel system and need a larger line. They're expensive and offer no real benefit on a stock engine.

They dont really offer any benefits on tuned engines either, but they look bling bling and thats the main factor. Unless you run them under the car, where the stainless braid protects the rubber tube inside, then again, hard lines are better for under car operation anyways.
