18" rims on an "05 corolla

i have an '05 corolla ce and i was looking at some rims to purchase for it. i want to know if anyone here has put 18 inch rims on their corolla. If so how do you compare the ride that your car has with low profile tires opposed to stock wheels. the wheels that i was looking at were 18" motegi dp12's.

No matter what car.. the lower the profile of the tire.. the bumpier its gonna be. Try getting a profile higher than what the car should ride on at a certain size, for example for a 195/50

Try getting a profile higher than what the car should ride on at a certain size, for example for a 195/50-15 tire, the next step up would be 205/40-16 but you could go with 205/45-16s instead, this would give you better ride, and it would cause only a minimal upset to the speedometer.

as long as you're willing to lower your car the 18's will look nice, and will ride bumpier(word?) like ren said, the thinner the tire, the worse ride

Those dp12s are a truck wheel, I think.
