You should still search, but on google. Off head I know of two documented gen8 Corolla rear disc brake conversion:

1. Vamp (JDM AE101 disc)

2. Hellish Mantis (Matrix XRS disc all around; 4x100->5x100)

Google for them.

it's not a need somuch as a want.

i despise servicing drum brakes.

no, i LOATHE servicing drum brakes.

and since this vehicle will be seeing many miles, many a brake pad change is inevitable.

anybody know if the Canadian version of the 93+ corolla came with disc brakes?

that'd be a much cheaper and easier to find swap.

none did... but I think.. I think.. (don't quote me on this) you might be able to fit the AE92 (88-91 Same as my cars) Corolla GTS rear discs on your car.

your choices are the AE101 JDM rear discs that vamp has
or the rear disc conversion kit by DR Tweak. He's selling one right now for $550 I think.

no 93+ US corolla has come with rear discs except the XRS

edit:
the hellishmantis job was custom so I'd say stick with the rear disc converison kit for simplicity.

Drums are easy to service. But do you need a direct swap, I mean I've seen craziest bastardized brake systems. How does a Toyota with Volvo brakes sound
