Get a wiring diagram, and bypass the clutch safety switch with a diode so that it does not defeat the clutch safety switch function, or possibly the car may be equipped with a nuetral safety switch and take it from there......

No manuals have a neutral saftey switch, that is why you must press the clutch. If you are one to leave your car in gear when you park, don't even waste your time or money, you will crash your car into something.

You also won't be able to find a professional installer to do it unless he fabs up a neutral safetey switch braket and it will run upwards of $400 complete.

jesus..... there's a switch on the floor that the clutch pushes in when you step on the clutch.... there are 2 wires that lead to it. cut the wires and connect them.

and yes, it is inevitable that you will crash it into something if you remote start it on a daily basis.

lets see..... my old roommates old mx6 crashed into a meter (1/2 my fault 1/2 his), it crashed into something else too.... his xB was left in reverse by a guy at the airport parking lot.... and it was remote started into a bmw..... his coworker (at best buy)... his car went THROUGH the bay doors for the install bay at best buy and ran into the counters..... several thousands of dollars in damage there.....

yet people still put remote starters on their standard cars even though they were designed for automatics. I'm sure a professional installer will do it.. but obviously they're not responsible for any damages resulting from morons starting their cars in gear.
