Lettering on Corolla

Just wondering, for my 2001 Corolla, is the lettering just 3M tape, or glue or is it dug into the back. just wanted to remove it.

i used dental floss to remove the letters but then there are big chunks of that adhesive that you will have to remove...Most of the chunks can be removed with your thumb or finger nail...the rest, i'd suggest u use Goo Gone...that got most of the glue residue off

Some people say just take them off and don't use heat because it makes the glue all goooie. I used a heat gun for about 5 seconds pulled the emblems off with my finger and wiped the (still hot) glue off with a towel. Wax afterwards
