compatibility with 86' corolla?

Hey,

I was wondering what the compatibility is with other model years of the corolla with my 86'?
It's FWD with 1.6l carb engine.

My strut mount plate on the passenger side is in bad shape, so i was hoping that i could pick one from a 90' corolla in the yards?

|Any ideas??

thanks!
