tightening a throttle cable?

is it possible to tighten a throttle cable?

it looks as if its at the end of the adjustment deal i dunno, but its oddly loose

Had the same problem with my ‘99; the cable is stretched.
I loosened the cable nut slightly on the throttle body and started the car.
I adjusted the tube and nut gently, make sure you don’t cause your idle to go up.
Also, if you have cruise control you may need to adjust the cables behind the cover also.

not sure of your model, but most should be adjustable where the cable meets the TB. There should be a part that is threaded, just tighten it from there.
