The VIN will be engraved on the bulkhead (firewall), and there should be a plate on there as well that has the car's VIN, engine code, transmission code, paint and trim colours, etc. Keep in mind that cars that were intended only for the Japanese market did not have the full 17-digit VIN number that vehicles intended for the North American or Australian markets have had for many years (going on 25 years here, as I recall), and it will only be a chassis serial number, such as mine, which is AE102-042604. The six digits will be the same between the 17-digit VIN and the chassis serial number. That said, there should be a full model code on the aforementioned plate, which will read E-AE92-ACMXR for a Corolla Levin GT-Z (the only model to have the 4A-GZE... Sprinter Trueno GT-Z would be E-AE92-BCMXR). Of course, I'm assuming that the Levin you bought was an AE92.... the GT-Z codes for the AE101 are the same (substituting AE101 for AE92 in the codes, of course). Standard 4A-GE models will have an F as the last letter in the 5 character model identifier, and ones without either will have a K. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
