swaps and engine specs

what are the specs for the 4age 16 valve? 4age 20 valve? which swap would you do? the 20 valve would be harder to swap, correct? but you get about 160 hp, right? and the 4age 16 valve only has about 130 hp, right? i'm just making sure i got the specs correct, because i was thinking if it was worth the swap into my 7afe, what are the most common swaps? is it worth it?

is this the same engine in the mr2s? which ones are? thanks

Any A series engine will bolt up.
4AGE Silver top is about 160 and the balck top is about 170hp ... the best would be a 4AGZE (S/C'ed or Twincharged). 20v and 16v will be similar amounts of work, the ecu wiring is the hard part.

all will work with a C52 or C56 manual tranny.

If you're into custom and want real power get the mounts done for a 3SGTE

wow, thanks, both the silver and black tops are 20 valves? i dont want a lot of power, but i was thinking of swaping the heads of a 4age into my 7afe, thus a 7age, sound good? would this swap reduce my corolla's reliability? i'm also concerned because i heard the 20 valves are harder to swap than the 16 valves, but thanks for clearing that up. oh, and if anyone knows, what 4age were the ones used on the older mr2s, thanks, i owe u one
