Canada springs get old?

hey im about to replace my struts on my 90 rolla coupe........should i replace my springs too?....do the springs wear out?...should i consider replacing them.?

SR5 or GTS.. pics man!

I'd say they're ok but if you did replace them, I'd go with a lowering set of springs like Eibach pro kit which is 1" lower but more expensive OR you can go with B&G or APEX which are not as much money but provide a 1.6inch drop.

I have APEX on both my cars, here's the pics so you can see how much lower they are and you can compare it to your car. They're actually not too bad if you go with OEM struts like my 90GTS but with something stiffer like KYB's they're not as soft.

springs do "die" over time, they get soft and wont keep the car up.

i dont have any pics but its an sr5 and it looks identical to yours....except mine is pure stock.....paint is red but it is heavuily oxidezed....or i dunno ........i looks like someone waxed it and never wiped it off afterwards.....any suggestions to fix the paint would be appreciated......can u setup a link for more pics of your cars so i can see what they look like lowered?

what kind of $$ figures am i looking at to get a set of these springs?.....do i need different struts too or are OEM fine to use?........i have had this car for onloy 6 months......i havent had time or money to fix it up.......frankly im very new to the tuner scene......i dont want a high powered beast all i want is preformance on the road and economy ( fuel)

Probably in the $300 CDN range for a set of springs.. OEM springs from Toyota would probably be more anyways.

would a "turtle wax" rubbing compund do the trick or sommin special?......i bought a buffer..........not a great one but ill give it a shot...and ill get a lambskin


hey if i bought lowering springs do i need different struts........ or are OEM struts fine?..
