Acceleration question
I don't know if this is normal, but for some reason I seem to accelerate faster from a stand still if I roll onto the throttle up til about 1,750rpm and then put it to the floor than if I accelerate from a stand still at full throttle!! Also when I accelerate at full throttle there seems to be a little hiccup or hesitation at about 2000 rpm and then a car accelerates like normal after that. What could this be? I thought the carb might be dirty, but I clean it out on about a bi-monthly schedule and its only about 2 years old. The fuel filter is new and I have a brand new filter on it. I thought it might be the TCS (I guess it is the equivalent of a TPS) but there is no way of testing it so I just ordered a new one. I don't think it is the problem though because I think something like that would effect the car all the time. Can anyone make any other sugestions or just know what it is? Thanks for any info n advance!!
