what to expect/replace on corolla

hey guys, i finally found a job, so im planning to modify my 1994 corolla, i am wondering what are the most common problems with this year and generation of corollas. I'd like to replace them if possible at first before i start modifying. Pistons? or piston rings? axles? etc etc etc, any tips and help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I had this generation for about 80k. Never had a problem with it. I would personally just go with plugs, wires,oil or air filter change, belts and enjoy the gas mileage,

only thing i've had so far, that i've heard of being "common" is my exhaust manifold cracking in half. other than that a few new batteries, new alternator, starter some wires and spark plugs/wires. she's lasted me from 65,000 (which i bought her with) and she now has 140,000 on her.

yeah id say the most common is the exhaust manifold cracking,

if its a 7a-fe enigne monitor the engine oil because there are a few people that have and or had issues with oil control rings including me

shocks id say at around 140 - 160 km's

i did my radiator at around 180 km's PS road salt......

take it easy on the tranny if its manual syncro's can be an issue
