I have a '92 and I was wondering if you could put a V Tech engine in it and the prices for it. If not, what other engines could you put in it and other things to make it faster with approximate price tags. I'm not that good into cars and was just curious.
You could put a Honda engine into your car, but you would be the bastard child of the automotive world.
The Toyota group would shun your Honda motor, and the Honda crowd would shun your Toyota car.
Plus you can do much better by simply putting a built 4AG(T/Z)E in there.
you would possibly need a whole front clip of a honda car. you'll need basically everything on the front clip. engine, harness, axles, engine support, sensors and maybe even the ones under the dash. it would be an unbelievably hard task/swap to do without all the parts you need. and you need a good honda/toyota mechanic.
SpeedballTrix... i guess you haven't seen the F22C powered AE86s eh?

No no no no no no no TORNADO AIR SYSTEM and other stuff like that = NOOOOO!!!!
Sorry, just had to get that out.
Just search the forum for "tornado" or whatever they are called.
Secondly, do you mean VTEC, as in Honda engines with variable valve timing? There are many, specify which you intend to work with. Saying you want a VTEC engine in your car cause VTEC is fast is the same thing as being a ricer.
What we are trying to say here is there are much better (Toyota) choices that can be swapped way more easily than an engine from a Honda that will give you decent power. You can go with a 4A-GZE or a 4A-GE 20 valve for example.
lol most supras will eat vtec civics, preludes, accords, and things of that sort alive, i know before i blew my HG i was able to do that with out even getting the third
No offense man, but I wouldn't believe everything you hear.
Maybe you should do a little research before asking questions out of left field. There is plenty of information on the net, without going on message boards and giving us guys a good laugh.
