Now I'm almost a Trueno

Before:

Pics below are as of 10 min ago! The hood was put on a few days ago, and sanded down to 800 grit and primered, along with the headlights, trunk, and GT-S spoiler. The rest of the car is soon to follow!

The bumper was a BITCH to install! I had to sawzall the mounts on the car, since the Trueno mounts were longer. Then I had to remove the tow hook bolt and welded in nut in the bumper mount tunnels. Then the wiring. Then the new lights... but after it's all said and done... I LOVE it! Reminds me of an older Porsche or something! The side lights are wired with the blinkers, so they light up where I'm turning like in a newer car!

I forgot that Japanese licence plates are a different size... I'll have to think of something for that!

The first pic is of the old bumper and the short mounts, the second is the cutting in progress, the third is the bumper mount tunnel that needs to be cut out, the 4th is the old lights, and the last 3 are with it on! Still needs a little tweaking, but it's on there!

They aren't available in the US/Canada unless you import one (or get one from someone who imported one.)

I got mine from a guy who bought it from a guy who was stationed in Japan.

yah, I work 9-6 every day so I don't have much daylight to sand and paint! But I am working on it every day! I'll update as I progress.

Left work early to do some work on it! Just finished now (7pm) and I've been at it since 4. I had to hand sand the entire bumper due to all the curves. Turned out quite well!

It looks bad in the pics, but trust me, it really looks badass in primer!

The last 2 pics are with the lights on, and then with the hazzards on (so I could show both, obviously only one side at a time works with the directionals!)

Bottom lights are directionals. Lights under the headlights are running lights (same as stock).

I paid around $500 for it I believe. Since it was too much to ship, it was driven out to me (from OHIO!! I live in MA!)

Yes. If you look at some newer cars (like my mother's 2003 Ford Windstar), it has headlights on the sides that light up where you are turning... that way you can see where you are going!

Not sure if that was their initial intention, but that's how I wired them. In the pic they are both on because I have the hazzards on to show them working.
