AE92 My Car Died

My '91 Corolla non-GTS didn't wanna wake up this morning, and I don't blame her; I had trouble getting up this morning, as well.

She worked fine last night; I parked her and went to bed.

This morning, I tried to start her up, and lo and behold... Nothing.

No crank, no turning of the starter... Nothing.

Well, just a "clicking" noise, as in when you hit the turn signals or emergency lights or windshield wipers.

This makes me think there may be a problem with the starter relay... But if there was a problem with the relay, I probably wouldn't hear a clicking noise at all, right?

The battery's fine, I took it to Pep Boys and had them test it; still in the green.

So call me stupid, but how would I go about checking the starter relay? And where is it located on my car?

Do I need a complete new starter?

I'd appreciate any answer anyone can provide... Thanks!

most likely the solenoid is buggered there is a DIY right here: http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t27312.html

id take a look see as theres a good chance thats it, ive had similar problems with Canadian Tire rebuilds 3 in total that do this type of thing

Also check the cableing going to the starter the other possibility i can think of is the starter isn't getting current from the battery so check the cabling going to it

Find the starter, then with a crowbar bang the starter a few times, not hard but not too soft and see if it starts. If it does start then your starter is dead and you'll need a new one OR you'll need to get it rebuilt.
