Canada Engine starts with defrost switch!

When I put the ignition key ON ( but not start yet), then turn the defrost on, engine starts! It's corolla 05. There is a remore starter installed, but I never had a problem with that as long as the defrost is off.

Some remote starters have the option to turn the defrost on as well. It was obviously not wired correctly. The defroster has a timer to shut it off, so I wouldn't try driving like that or the car may shut off on you when you least expect it.
