In the world of suspension it is easy to get lost shopping for it. Every one seems to make "The Best". But what really is the best? How do I konw what I am suposed to look for. All I want is a suspension that is good for drifting? I am kinda new to the parts world of cars, all I really know is how to drive them. So I'm confused. I heard that Tein makes the suspension. Is this true? What about the Tein Drift Spec Super Drift Side Way Master? Is it even worth getting? By the way its a 86 SR5 with a 4A-C.

before you worry about the "BEST DRIFT" set-up, you should get lots of track time first. good brakes and working springs and shocks would be a good start. drifting is not about how much bling you can put in. if you can't control a stock more forgivable set-up, how do you expect drifting on a stiffer/more sportier suspension? you won't know the advantages of having a nice set-up if you haven't maximize your stock one.
btw, most AE86 guys are getting the Tokico HTS shox/TRD Japan spring combo
FYI, Migs from Dori-Kaze, took me for a spin at Shannonville in his AE86 using Monroe Sensatrac.

Like the man said. Before you start to make your car a "drift machine" learn how to drift with it as stock. Then it'll be an easy transition to better suspension. Its always better to start with the harder option and then go on.

Monroe sensatrac, oh those are so great.... Lowering springs + sensatrack = Disaster
That is what I plan on doing. But I am trying to get ideas for it so I know what I would like to purchase for it in the future I am saving up for a 4A-GE BT(Black Top) and I would like to get the car ready for it. Plus the stock one is going to give out I can hear it squeak every time I apply pressure on the back end of it. Basically I wana have a set target on what I want to buy for the car so when I wana upgrade it I,ll know what to get.
What about UEO Style products for the 86? I heard they are supposed to be good as well. I was thinking for a tower bar. Anyone know of this? Can you find anotherone just as good for a cheaper price?
Ok I don't think you understand Flashman. I know how to drive it and drift with it. I don't need anyone telling me that I don't know how to drive. I drive all day every day, so I think I know how to drive. I'm not trying start anything either so please don't think that. All I want to know is what is good or not.
Lex what do you mean by GTS conversation?
P.S. I Appreciate the concern of me wrecking the car.
