clutch pedal making noise?

i have the 94 7afe 5speed, and whenever i press down on the clutch to go into gear, my clutch pedal would have a little squeak coming from it? is this something i should be concern about? is it just getting rusting? it does have about 155,000 miles on it, should i add some kind of grease to it? thanks

Try greasing the linkage under the dash. If that doesn't do it, the MC might need to be replaced to cure the squeak.

I got that problem too, someone told me to grease as well, have not gotten around to it yet. Squeks more on the return, though.

I had this problem, as well as a slight groan at the bottom of travel coming from the engine compartment (could feel it through the pedal). When I had the clutch replaced, I flushed the clutch fluid and the problem hasn't returned.

Red you think my clutch, may be going? Can't really tell if it is slipping because I also have a bad cat, and or carb needs some work. If the clutch pedal is squeking is that a sign of a bad clutch. 4af ae92 sedan
