Hatch AE92 engine Modifications

Sup all you've probally have had a few threads about this topic before so i'll make it short and simple

I need to know what Engine modifications can be done to a AE92 Hatch its N/A "Stock engine" and my budget is around $600 - $700 so that eliminates engine conversions i have allready started modifing a little by working on getting a few parts to build a Cold Air Intake and installing a Intake Mod Chip in coming days tho i would like to now what else can be done to the engine without Turbo/Super Charging it?

Ae92 Hatch? you mean AE95? 5 door station wagon? or the GTi 3 door hatch? fx16?
