4age on dyno

this is probably a pretty good question, i know that we use shims in the 4age, but on the dyno2000 program, in order to get an accurate reading, the only have lifters.

id like to know whether i should use the hydraulic lifter function or the solid, or the roller function. i know it is all a matter of friction within the valvetrain, and i know 16 valve heads have no where near the friction that an 8v head would have, especially with lifters.

which one would you say to use for accuracy?

Is this one of those computer program dynos, that give you an estimate of your power when you enter the specified details.... if so, I wouldnt put much value on it. Alot of them dont just work.
