You will not need to worry about the vin. Corporate will be contacting someone at the dealership and the dealership will contact you. You did the right thing here by contacting corporate. It is amazing how a call to Toyota corporate can change the attitude of a dealership.
Also, it shouldn't take 2 months to get you the right car. I ordered my 07 XLE in late August when they were in higher demand than they are now and it came in 4 weeks to the day I ordered it.
