The CX-9 has 7 real seats for 7 adults, or at least 6 anyway. The third row can accept 6 footer like me, and still save some room for cargo at the back.

I'm not sure if you've ever owned a Mazda for a long period of time or not but I can tell you this.....when it comes to long term reliability, Mazda will cost far more then any Toyota cars and trucks. I've had couple of Mazdas in the past and I would never ever go back to Mazda again.
Their dealers service plus its products are really inferior to Toyotas.
