I used Polyurethane construction adhesive (comes in a tube like caulk) that I purchased at Lowes to fix the hood on my 95 T-100. Just used a caulking gun to apply where the original factory seals were. This stuff is really thick (has a consistency like peanut butter) so it won't drip on the engine. Didn't have to put any weight on the hood either. Just apply enough so that it contacts both surfaces. Mine was 1/4" thick in some places. I probably applied about 10 globs of the stuff with each being about 1 inch long. It's tan in color so after it dried, I painted it to match the color of the truck so it isn't so noticeable. No problems since. You'll probably want to watch closing the hood afterwards so you don't break the seals again but I usually don't SLAM my hood shut anyway like some repair shops will do. Let me know if you have any other questions. I can try to post some pics if that would be helpful.
