Thanks guys, I would like for my system to become loud but I'm sure it will be plenty loud no matter which of the 2 tc's I get.

Here is my 2 seperate plans
1) Get 2 db-500's, i have yet to decide whether sealed or ported, the site says sealed but in their forums, many people choose to port them instead. I have to do more reasearching about wiring because I think I can get a monoblock and run them parallel at 2 ohms (they are 4 ohm subs) but I have to double check on that and whether you run only half the power at 2 ohms rather than 4.
2) Get 1 tc 1000 and either port or seal and just get a simple monoblock to power it at like 500 ohms.

I assume the 2 will run me at near the same price, option 1 probably will be $150 subs, $250 amp, $100ish for wiring and box if i build it. Option 2 is $120 for sub, $150-200ish for amp, and close to the same for box/wiring.

Would there be better sql with the 2 subs or 1 tc sub? I do want it to be able to get loud, but I would also like it to perform decently cleanly. I guess I was wrong in presuming I could reach the same lvl as a tc - 1000 by having the 2 play at lower levels per sub and clearer...
