o.k. I did a little research and found these:

JBL
http://cgi.ebay.com/JBL-PX300-4-CHAN...QQcmdZViewItem
  • 4 Ohms: 123.5 watts x 4 chan.
  • 2 Ohms: 169 watts x 4 chan.
  • 4 Ohms Bridged: 358 watts x 2 chan.
  • (maybe a little too much?)
and

Pioneer Premier
http://cgi.ebay.com/PIONEER-PREMIER-...QQcmdZViewItem

Continuous Power (4 ohm) 75 Watts x 4
Continuous Power (2 ohm) 150 Watts x 4
Continuous Power Bridged (4 ohm) 300 Watts x 2

The Pioneer has the numbers that I think I want: 300 watts rms for this sub

and 75 watts for each of these front components

Do any of these sound good to you?
