Just got a blaupunkt miami beach cd51 deck and intstalled it myself. Everything works fine it just gets super hot. not the faceplate so much but on the back of it and the whole unit itself.

so hot that you'll burn yourself if you keep your hand on it too long.

any ideas what would cause this. say I reversed the + and - wires on one of my speakers, would that cause it?
