I think you guys are missing the point, a ram air hood channels air passing over the hood into the the engine's intake. Whether it provides performance gains is questionable I agree, but how much horsepower it adds if any is not really the critical point that defines a ram-air hood (although it is one of the main goals).
A ram air hood that doesn't provide any performance gains can still be a ram-air hood, it would just be a crappy one. The RKSport hood sucks at it's functionality from a number of points, but the fact that air is channeled (however inefficiently) into the engine compartment makes it a ram-air hood.
btw, I got the hood for it's style. I like how it looks. I didn't even cut the hole that completes the functionality of the hood, they forgot to cut it from the manufacturer. So MY hood is really not a ram-air hood but that doesn't mean all the RKSport "ram-air" hoods aren't ram-air

.
As for my signature, I've got Mr.Smiley jacking off cause my ram-air hood was bullshit. The company I bought it from has their heads up their asses. They sent me a defective hood that completely negates any possibility that the hood be functional and only after 3 days of convincing them they finally said "oh, btw, we forgot to cut that last hole".
