Whenever yoiu're downshifting, whether it be to acellerate real quickly, or to engine brake into a turn, you should always try and blip your throttle just a little when you push the clutch. I deally you want it to hit the rpm that your engine will be at when you release the clutch. It helps keep all those hard -harsh engagements out of the question.
