No one is really posting any new messages in the MR2 forum, so I thought I'd post something up. There was an MR2 meeting two days ago, on August 2nd and I went with a friend of mine in an AE86 Corolla GT-S.
The event was great, despite the fact that we showed up pratically one and a half hours late and missed a third or more, or the racing activity. The event was nonetheless fun.. Even as a spectator, such as I.
I did not count the cars in attendance but most of the cars there were MR2s. Some AW11s, and some SW20s. There was also a MA70 Supra, two Honda CRXs, a Lexus, a Porsche, and two
very fast Integra Type-R's.
All I can say is that the event is definitely worth a try, even if you are a beginner. There are lots to learn from, as I had a chance to sit inside one of the Integra Type R's of

The people there were extremely nice and the drivers were courtious to one another and gave each other lots of space. Overall, the event was
GREAT and I had a blast just watching from behind the pit walls.
