My Damaged Camry: Before and After Pictures!
First let's get down to the good news, because there is a LOT of this.
1) The insurance and body shop agreed upon some quote thing. I am getting a brand new roof, hood, interior headliner and sunroof. Those are obviously going to be painted. So I'm getting all new parts - nothing will be "straightened" or "fixed", but instead replaced.
2) My insurance policy is up for renewal this early April, and today the new papers came in. The rate REMAINS the same. Even if they choose to hike my rate, since I already have the official documents and papers, they can only this from April 2008, which is awesome!
3) Work began on my car today. Tomorrow I should hear what the status is on the replacement parts. I was told that the roof may need to be back-ordered which would delay the whole process. But I don't care - I want them to do the right job. Their estimate is 2 weeks, but I think 3-4. That's fine, I have another car to drive meanwhile.
4) I will be KEEPING the Camry!!!
