I have a 3sge out of a st204 which I want to use in a rear wheel drive conversion, the gear box I want to use is a five speed out of a 1982 celica which had a r21 engine.
The gearbox is and alloy case type. Does anyone know what toyota bellhousing I can use to marry the 3sge to this gearbox ?

I'm putting them in a 81 RA40 celica, mounts and electronics are all sorted, I just need a bellhousing that will marry this W55 transmission to the 3S block.

There is a kit somewhere do do this conversion and even has a bell housing for a W series tranny you just have to do some searching on the internet for the kit. Also if you havce an 81 celica then yo don't have a 3rd gen celica you have a 2nd gen celica. 3rd gens where from 82-85 and where chassic code RA60, RA64 or RA65 The RA40 is a 2nd gen so that little third gen tab you have on the thread should be changed to a second gen for your information.

I done some searching and toysport sell the bellhousing I need, so thanks for the tip.
As for the GEN3 icon, I picked it because of the engine I'm using. (3SGE OUT OF ST204, THIRD GENERATION, FIRST OF SHIM UNDER BUCKET TYPE.)
