cleaning 2002 celica interior

Hey guys,

I'm from Australia and have a Celica ZR (i think it's a gt-s) in american terms.
I am wondering how you clean the interior plastic dash?
e.g the i have a few stains and marks on the passenger dash where the glove box is and the glove box itself has a few colour markings.
Is there a particular alcohol or something that can make it clean? I dont wont to discolour the dash as normal water doens't clean it.

Also is there any products which repair the plastics on the doors inside the car ?
i find that the seat belt head keeps hitting the plastic part inside the door and now have alot of scratch marks.

help appreciated.

thanks!!

well , you need some sort of a mild solvent to remove the pen marks. i suggest a bit of mineral turpentine. put it on a clean cloth and rub that on the area, when the marks are out, wipe with a bit of soap and water to get rid of the turps and then armorall it to get the shine.
methylated spirits is also a good way of removing ball point pen marks from trim or cloth. never use any strong solvents like thinners or petrol as they will just dissolve plastic. ive never had any trouble with turpentine yet.
