Hi All.
I just picked up an 88 GT convertible a few weeks ago as a hobbie car. Problem is I've never dealt with convertible pump before. The hyraulic system has leaks at connections as result it is low on fluid. Question:
- Leaks are at the couplings both at the pump and at the hydraulics. Looks like simple copper compression couplings. I'd like to replace couplings at all leaking points. What's the safe way to do this?
- I'd assume there's a hydraulic fluid resevoir somewhere. Unfortunately, the car I bought doesn't have manuals. I've trace the lines, but haven't been able to locate. Is there a resevoir or is everything contained in the pump? How do I add fluid?
I'd greatly appreciate it if someone can either answer questions above or point me to info that might help.
