Where to shift?

to have a 5-spd 7afe, where would be the ideal spot to shift? for daily driving? i've heard 3k and 4k rpm for this engine? anyone with any ideas or any experience? thanks

That'll be fine. You'll make peak torque around there, so after that you're just going to run out of breath and wasting gas.

with the current gas price, i say shift btw 2k-2.5k,

no dis in any form but 7afe, there's no point in making "peak torque" during daily driving.
