5sfe turbo manifold

Anybody ever used this type manifold for their 5sfte

I have one and would like to know if it would be ok to install a wastegate on one of the runners. I have done so already and the wastegate was welded in the wrong place. Was going to buy a factory manifold but wanted to know if it was ok to do so before I do it......

The hood would not close the way the wastegate was on the manifold........

if thats a SSA product dont bother.

its going to break/crack within the month.

ive personally seen TWO crack with less then 1000miles, and many other SSA products crack quick too.

they look nice from far away, but their quality is ppor -- and easy way to tell is the welding - look at the inside of the pipes.

run an extra pipe from as close to the turbo flange as possible for the gate, but yeah, i have no idea. what the hell are you using that has an external gate?!

:

erm.... yeah.

its gonna crack if its an SSA one

Megan racing will be producing a similar manifold pretty soon. I have one sitting in my garage and it seems to be pretty nice quality. If I ever find my camera charger I'll post some pics of it.
