I've done brakes before but I've never had the opportunity to rebuild the inner workings of a caliper. How difficult is it? Anything I should be aware of before I start?

I've read a couple of DIYs and tutorials and it doesn't seem difficult at all but I'd rather avoid a haedache upfront.

BTW its a 91 with the 5SFE engine, rear drums.

Well, thanks for your reply. Didn't help my poblem at all but thanks anyways.

I did do the caliper rebuild. The concept was easy but putting everything back together was a bit frustrating and took a lot of patience.
