rx7 injectors work in our engines??
holy crap!! I thought injectors were much more engine
specific than they must be. I guess those are high impedance?

.....Did you double check to make sure they are the right impedance? Injectors are pretty much interchangable as long as you have the right impadence as your ECU can only power certain types.

heh... let me get this right... injectors are universal as long as they are within the impedence tolerance of the ecu? Because if that is true then *drool* .... hehehe

^ no that is not true

yes if the impedence is correct you are good in that department - that is a universal fact - but sometimes the injector has a different size tip that goes into the block - i had that problem on my injectors when they were supposed to be installed on my camry 5sfte... they were some 550's, but they had a gm style end which had been machined, and they were too small for the block so gas would shoot out everywhere...

RC engineering also sells a bunch of sizes, that can fit the 5s, but another factor that may change would be cutting the old clips and splicing new ones in

word. I would recommend the green top injectors, although they can be rare. But you will need about 315-360cc injectors for a low impedance.

no man, you want HIGH impedence injectors for the 5sfe... not low impd. trust me on that

low impedence will NOT work without a resistor box

you do NOT want to use the greentops. many people pop motors because of them. use the rx-7 injectors, they are a direct fit and provide enough fuel for much of what the 5sfe can handle

H ay you can find them in a junkyard and they will work most of the time. Currently I am running them with no turbo and they work alright. My apexi safc II is keeping them in check with -50% correction in Lo throttle -25% in Hi throttle..... I love my apexi....... Cant wait till this weekend man........
