4th Generation help...

for the past two days the sensor that shows whether my door is open or not has been showing its open no matter what. how do i fix it or disconnect it before it runs my battery dead?

Check the door buttons first. Is one broken? It might be as easy as replacing it or putting a piece of duct tape on it until you get around to it.

well when i push in the button myself it works...and i know its the driver's side.

i would just fine a piece of tape and put that over it. make sure its the same color though god forbid. ahah no i would tape it until you can get around to pulling the button out and checkin the wires. honestly i have never had this problem, but thats what i would do.

well i was told today that the switch has finally worn out....$20 for a new one at the dealership!!! guess i'll be checking the pick-a-parts. until i find one i guess i'll just disconnect the wires inside....thanks for all the help...
