would u like to share this information with us?? and only some heads had these problems, i read that the newer 5sfe i think it was 92 and up had no problems with the water passages, only the older ones, and it wasnt supposed to be that hard to drill new ones or expand the old ones so they fit. but if you have a better solution let us know.

I also heard the each generation the dsigns were changed. ex 86-89, 90-93,94-98.
When i was putting my GE head on my 90 5S i notice that the head gasket on there block some of the water passages and only allowed a small hole for that head. When I went to the junk yard, I compared my 5S head gaskets and the 4th gen 3S head gasket the oil and wather passages are the same on the block.but the head and water passages are complety different. The gasket block some of the passages and allowed it to work find. Now im not sure about the 6th gen.
