My friend is going to drop his celica over at my house, so we can take out the motor and give the car to the junk yard (it crashed, but everything in the bay seems fine)
If you ahve done a Civic swap then you shouldnt have problems pulling hte Celica engine. Pretty straigh forward.
Disconnect all wiring, drain fluids, pull motor mounts and you should be jsut about there. Yeah I know there is more to it but really pulling an engine is not that big of a project. Now putting it abck and making sure you ahve everything where it goes is another story.

the easiest way of removing the engine is from below. Disconnect everything and leave the two side mounts. Have the car on the ground and pull the car off the motor. Pulling it isn't too bad.... just make sure that on your hoist you tranny side has a good 4 inches of slack so it pulls up after the cam side
ok, got mostly everything out but it seems the engine wont come out, i think there's a mount somewhere close to the tranny, is that's what's causing it not to come out?
sometimes the acutal mounting piece for the rear mount can get caught by your power steering rack. You may want to start by removing that. its 2 14mm bolts
