celica for sale, good deal?

a guy I know is selling his 92 celica GT for 2000$ Its only got 74000 miles on it!!! its got power windows, power sun roof and a cd player. Anyhow, anyone have an opinion? good buy?

Almost toooo low on those miles. How good a friend is he?
Cause too good to be true ALWAYS is.
Find out where he got it. Make sure you have some reliable history. Could be he got taken by and just wants to unload it cause of all the shit he's finding out is wrong with it..

On the other hand he could just be a great guy, and 2k is more than fair. If in fact there is nothing major wrong. . .I would'nt even try to talk him down.

It sounds like $2000 is a great deal considering the mileage. Check carfacts.com, i believe it's called. As long as it runs good and is in decent shape I would grab it. Just check the carfacts site to be sure it hasn't been cut in half and welded back together or some crap.

i got my 91 GT for $2500. it had somewhere around 70-90k (dunno for sure cuz its not the original odometer)

id take it!
