alright, it's been a pretty good day. i went engine shopping and found out two places. both have 3sge, 2.0 with between 50 and 70 K. price is about
$1100 bucks for engine and install (...i know kind of low, but 3 different places that differed in price of about 200 bucks).

now i need to find out HP and upgrade options for the 2.0 3sge- 1990

Are you sure its a 90? If its an imported motor then it could be, but if its a usdm motor, then the 3sge came in the Celi until 89 and was rated at 135HP and 125ft/lbs TQ. If it is an imported 2nd gen motor then its rated at 156HP and around 140ft/lbs TQ.

Theres tonnes of parts for the 3SGE, pretty much anything you're looking for, except for maybe a turbo setup, which you could put together easily.

they're all from japan is what they say, with about 50-70k. i got all giddy when they told me the price, i was expecting to pay 3 times as much
