USA '90 Celica GT Vibration

Just got my celica and love it except for this annoying vibration. I'm quite sure it is an engine related vibration because it doesn't matter what gear it is in or if its in gear at all( mannual tranny) . It does it anytime it is above 1000rpm. There are only a couple of times it won't do it above 1000rpm. One, is if your doing say 50 and accelerate to 60 if will almost go away completely. The other time is if you crest a hill and a little weight comes off the wheels it will almost go away entierly. Like I said even if your sitting there car in neutral and give it gas it will vibrate so bad the objects in the rear view mirror become blurry. as soon as the RPM gets below 1000 you can hardly even hear the engine running inside or out. This makes me think either motor mount, or a bad bushing somewhere.

Does anyone know how many mounts are on the car. I took a quick look and saw two but it seems like there should be at least one more.

the 90 celicas came with 4 motor mounts. One by each fender and 1 on the crossmenber in front near the radiator and one in the back which holds the tranny. Yup the rattling does sound like your motor mounts. If your looking to stiffen up and don't have much money, buy this

If your looking for a stiff ride for high performance use, do what i did, buy the motor mounts you need and fill in the gaps with this. Trust me, it makes a difference
