Question 93 all trac q's and opinions?

Hi...sort of a newb here, I bought a 93 celica all trac a while back and have been pretty happy with the bolt-ons i have done to it..but want to dig into some more hp/traction issues since tax rime is coming around..i usualy get about 3k every year.this will be an x-auto and drag car (would break into the 12's).

-Does anyone make an LSD for the all trac?
-adj. cam gears..worth the money?
-where can i get a reputable rebuild kit?...for more boost
-cams...aftermarket or are n/a 5sfe cams just as good..or will a entire 5sfe head fit a 3sgte block ??

thanks..

- I think Toyota has a and LSD Rear diff for the celcia alltrac
- Perosnal I do not think cam gears are wroth the money
- How much boost are you planing to run? (I would say grab a upgrade T3T4 turbo)
- as for cam I have tryed to put in the cams from the 3SGE into the 3SGTE, the car worked great but didnt run it for long due to a rearmain seal leak. I would say grab the HKS cams (another product I am trying to get my hands on)

I would also say to pick what you wanta do with the car x-auto or Drag, I think it would be hard to try to get the best of both worlds.

Getting a ST185 [90-93 Alltrac/GT4] into the 12s is a bit of work, fyi. They are great cars, but are not quite as responsive to mods as others, like the GSX [mainly due to a EXTREMELY restrictive computer and a turbo made for almost instant boost]
HOWEVER, it is a VERY capeable platform. Well capeable of 12s AND winning autocross.
This car won plenty of WRC victories. And several championships.

1-yes. Factory, as well as some others. However, it's a TORSEN diff, not the more common clutch type. SOME Alltracs came with them. I have one for mine.
2-if you have aftermarket camshafts and a dyno to play on, yes
3-Rebuild kit doesn't make more boost. It makes reliability.. Go OEM for 99% of it. Only thing[s] to get aftermarket are head studs, hg, maybe valve seals.
4-Don't even think about it. A 5SFE head is a HUGE step back. It's designed for economy, not power. And the camshafts won't work anyways.
HKS makes 3 sets. They are by far the most common ones.

I'm not sure of lift.

www.alltrac.net is a great resource, as stated above.

However, one word of warning about 935motorsports. There have been instances of people waiting a really long time for parts/refunds.
I don't believe he [Rob] is dishonest, just overworked.
I have never ordered anything from him, I personally didn't want to take the chance.
But, alot of other members have had good experience.

Check these threads out and make your own opinion.
