92 jdm swap help!!!!!

me and a friend swaped a 92 celica with a 1.6 to the jdm 1.6 and when we try and fire it , it runs but rev-hopps like no other?
whats wrong ecu some thing not hooked up? what please help... thank you

I would guess it means the rpms are going up and down. :shrug:

Have you checked for vaccum leaks?

yes at idle it hops from 1500 to 3500 or so... where can i get a vacuum diagram

I dont' have one myself.

To see if you have a leak, with the engine running, spray brake cleaner around anywhere you took apart that has to do with the intake system.
Also, try around the vaccum lines.

Don't use too much, it's not good for the rubber.

Try adjusting the TPS sensor.
This happened when I swapped a 3sfe for a genII 3sge. Turned out the throttle position sensor was slightly opened.
