stereo ??

Hi anybody know how to reset a 1990 celica gts stereo it si showing security function and i do not have a code for it? I contacted the dealer and they dont have one but the service guy tells me there is a master overide code available to the mechanics only???

dont use the quick reply it is rubish. There is no such thing as a master override. If you are running a stock head unit dont bother about it as the sound quality isnt much good anyway buy a half decent new one it will probably cost the same as the repair. sorry

I agree with mark on the replacement. I got one through Crutchfield with the wiring harness and installation kit to make the install super easy for under $100. It took maybe an hour and looks like a professional installation.
