Fuel in Cylinder(s) after sitting

I recently let my car sit for 5 days and when I tryed to start it it was hydrolocked with gas. Somehow gas had continued to flow into the cylinder after parking it. It wa running great although I had had a code 26 which is rich fuel condition. By hydrolocked I mean it just made a big clunk when i tried to start it. The engine would not turn over.

Any thoughts on why fuel would continue to leak into the cylinder(s). I recently had my injectors cleaned, tested and rebuilt so I really don't think it is the injectors themselves.

An other symtom has been hard starting since we got the car.

For some reason you do have an injector leaking. Was only 1 cylinder fueled up or were they all? If only one this will tell you which injector to check. Also check that the injector isn't getting a signal while in off position.

How would I check to see if it was getting a signal while in the off position? I really think this problem has been here since we bought the car but I have not been able to isolate it.

Unplug the injectors that leaked and probe the wires with a digital voltage meter. Tell us if it reads any voltage. Check all four plugs.
I'm expecting the injectors may have trash holding them open or they are just leaking. Can't rule out the signal until you check the wires though.

I had the injectors cleaned and I don't think it is them. The wires leading to them is another story.
Will do on checking the voltage on the wires.

Whatever is wrong is a ongoing problem that has got worse as time goes on.
First is was;
hard starting after the engine was warm
then hards starting everytime
now just too much gas flowing even when off.

I mean have you checked to see if it drips.
It is allowed a bit, maybe 1 drop a min or such. I forget off the top of my head.

I checked the resistance and it was in spec at 3.5 ohms.
When I unscrewed the banjo bolt gas came out for a couple of seconds then quit. THis was with the power off.

The the wire leading to the leaky one did not show any voltage with the power off. The injector itself was within spec for resistance.

Maybe one of your injectors is reading ok but when the pressure is left in the system, aftrer shutting off the vehicle, fuel is being forced through and leaking into your cylinders. It's just a possible scenerio.

Could be that for sure.
I am going to get a fuel pressure gage and see if the fuel pump is pumping too much pressure.

Pressure isn't your problem as it's leaking while shut off. My dollar says you have a bad injector or trash stuck in it.

I'll put a dollar on trash in the injectors as well do you have the fuel system flushed or just the injectors.. By that i mean did you pull the injectors when you cleaned them or did you flush the system by hooking a pressure cleaner to the fuel rail?? If you pressurized the rail i bet some trash got knocked lose and is holding an injector open..

I sent them to http://www.witchhunter.com/
Still you all could be right. I hate to have to pull the darn things again but I may have to.
I still have a bad oxygen sensor accorting to the tests I did today.
