Canada deck just turned off...

I have a 91 celica gt-s. I was putting the volume higher than I normally and boom deck goes off display shuts down. So i thought I blew then fuse. I go to the back of the deck and put in a new fuse and check for any blow fuses in the engine bay and under the wheel on the drivers side of the car and nothing (well my multimeter is inconsistant signal wise). DOes anyone know which fuse is for the stereo under the wheel on the drivers side. Im pretty sure i tried em all and things seemed ok most of the time.

if you blew a fuse, it won't be the clock. push you cigarette ligher in. if i don't work then it's a fuse. if your cigarette lighter still work then it's your cd player.

dont have a clock or a lighter anymore. The lighter was disconnected and a gauge was put in place and the clock is replaced by a HKS turbo timer. I changed the fuse on the deck already...I guess the only other option is a fuse in the junction box under the steering wheel?

Is your deck stock or aftermarket? If it'san aftermarket, you should look for a tiny pin-sized reset button on the front of the deck, or behind your detachable face if you have one. I had the same thing happen with a junk deck in my 91 GT and a quick push of the reset button by a pin and I was in business again.
