Canada Anyone here have an '83 GT?

I was in the local yard today (scrounging for my various cars) and I noticed a new addition to their lot: a 1983 Celica GT. It's (obviously) not mint, but the fenders look good (surface rust only), the quarter panels are clean, and it hasn't been ripped to hell yet.

If anyone needs parts for such a collector's item, reply or PM me and I'll check their prices. To give you an idea, I usually pay $20 for mint fenders, $5 for blower motors, etc... I've been going there for years so the guy charges me peanuts.

The car is automatic, has a red interior. All four original rims/dust caps still in good shape, front lip not cracked or damaged, one good headlight assembly, most of dash is intact.

I hope this helps someone, these cars are never in the scrap yards!

They would only want about $20CDN ($about $18USD), but your pic is a Celica Supra...I just want to be clear (I'm not an expert on Celicas, I don't know what years the different models were made) that this isn't a Celica Supra. Just a Celica GT...still want me to check into it?

Um no my picture is a Celica GT not a Supra. If it was a supra it would have fender flares on it and the front end is completely different on the supra. Just because I have Celica GTS/Supra rims doesn't meant I have a Supra. But yes check into it if you would becaues I still need a passenger fender for a 3rd gen celica GT becaues that is what I have.

Sorry for the confusion...my specialty is listed in my sig. Um, the Celica in the yard is the generation before yours. I pulled the year "1983" off the door badge, because I couldn't tell to look at it what year it was. It definately is not the same model as yours...sorry for the false info (if it's false, I'm not too sure at this point!).

The generation before mine went from 78-81. The 3rd gen celicas went from 82-85. Are you maybe looking at a couple instead of a liftback and that is your confusion? If so then the fenders are still the same.
